Cort Store Privacy Policy
1. Who this covers
This policy describes how Ainara Cano ("we", "us") treats information in the Cort Store mobile app (the "App"). Cort Store is a single-player clicker: you tap the hen for golden eggs, place houses on a meadow, and gather wheat from the yard.
By installing or using Cort Store, you accept this policy. If you do not, please delete the App.
2. What stays on your device
Your farm
Farm progress, wheat and egg counts, yard layout, cosmetics you unlock, sound and haptic settings, and your chosen farmer name all live in local storage on the device. We do not run a player account or a cloud save.
Your portrait
If you pick a photo as your Me-tab portrait, that image is stored only on the device as part of your local profile. It is not uploaded to us or to any partner.
3. What we collect
To launch the App, measure installs, and deliver notifications, Cort Store collects a limited set of technical data:
- Device and app details. Device model, iOS version and build, preferred languages, time zone, and the App bundle identifier. These are sent with the App's launch request to our website.
- Install identifier. A random install ID created by AppsFlyer for this copy of the App, plus install and session events.
- Advertising identifier (IDFA). Only if you allow tracking (see section 4). If you decline, a blank all-zero value is used instead.
- Push token. If you allow notifications, an Apple push token and a OneSignal subscription ID so we can deliver messages to your device.
- Cookies in web pages. When the App shows a web page inside it, that page may set cookies. The App keeps them on the device so the page remembers you between launches.
We do not collect your name, email, phone number, contacts, precise location, or payment details.
4. App Tracking Transparency
On first launch, iOS shows a prompt asking whether Cort Store may track your activity across other companies' apps and websites. This choice is yours, and the game works the same either way.
- If you tap Allow, the App can read your device's advertising identifier (IDFA) and share it with AppsFlyer for install attribution and measurement.
- If you tap Ask App Not to Track, the IDFA is not read or shared, and only the non-advertising data listed in section 3 is used.
You can change this choice at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking, or in Settings → Cort Store.
5. Permissions you can grant
- Tracking. Optional. Described in section 4.
- Notifications. Optional. If you allow them, Cort Store may send a local evening reminder to come back to the meadow, and push messages delivered through OneSignal. You can switch them off in The coop on the Me tab or in iOS Settings.
- Photos. Optional. Used only if you set a custom avatar, or if a page shown in the App asks you to choose an image. You can keep a built-in chick, farmer, or calf icon instead.
- Camera. Optional. Requested only if a page shown in the App asks you to take a picture. The App does not use the camera on its own.
Cort Store does not ask for location, contacts, or microphone access.
6. How we use this data
- To save your farm so you can close the App and return to the same meadow, hen, and houses.
- To decide what to show when the App starts, using the device and app details from section 3.
- To understand how people find and install Cort Store, through AppsFlyer attribution.
- To send reminders and notifications you agreed to receive.
- To keep the App working, fix problems, and prevent abuse.
We do not sell personal data. We only use the advertising identifier for attribution, and only after you allow tracking.
7. Third-party services
Cort Store uses the following partners. Each processes data under its own privacy policy:
- AppsFlyer: install attribution and measurement. Receives the install ID, device details, app events, and the IDFA if you allowed tracking. AppsFlyer Privacy Policy
- OneSignal: push notification delivery. Receives the push token, subscription ID, the AppsFlyer install ID used to link your subscription, device model, OS version, language, and time zone. OneSignal Privacy Policy
- Apple: App Store downloads, push delivery, and the tracking prompt. Apple Privacy Policy
We do not share player data with data brokers. We may disclose information if the law requires it.
8. How long data is kept
Game data and saved web cookies stay on your device until you delete the App. Data held by AppsFlyer and OneSignal is kept under their retention rules. You can ask us to request its deletion using the contact below.
9. Your choices
- Turn tracking on or off in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
- Reset or remove your advertising identifier in iOS Settings.
- Turn notifications off in The coop on the Me tab or in iOS Settings.
- Change or remove a photo avatar from the profile editor.
- Delete the App to remove local save data and cookies from that device.
- Email us to ask for access to or deletion of data linked to your install. If you live in the EU, UK, or California, you also have the rights your local law gives you.
10. Children
Cort Store is a casual farm game and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you think a child has sent us personal data, write to the email below and we will delete it.
11. Changes to this page
We may revise this policy when the App changes. The new text will appear here with an updated date. Continued use after a change means you accept the revised policy.
